First Data EMV Store/Register Setup 1. Log into the Gateway Admin and add the merchant information. You'll need the MID, DID and TID for Nashville Rapid Connect. a. Use the Nova Libra RC gateway setup as a guide and working example. b. Edit the existing merchant c. change the processor to 'First Data RC' d. change the name so that we can tell the difference between regular and rapid connect MIDS (I've just been adding RC to the end of the name) e. change the MID/TID/DID f. MID should have no leading zeros g. TID should have zeros to pad it to 8 characters (existing TID should be same length) h. DID should have zeros to pad it to 20 characters (existing DID should be same length) i. Store ID should be set to 10001 for all stores j. Make sure currency code is set to 840 k. Save... there should now be two merchants. 2. Log into the Valet for the Store and edit the store to update the Merchant ID and Terminal ID to match what is in the gateway for that store. 3. Navigate to the https://ww2.cashierlive.com/drivers/ page and select the "POSCOM System Trap App" link. Follow the instructions to install. 4. Edit the Register and select the"POS COM app installed" checkbox and choose Magtek IPAD for Pin Pad and Signature Pad. Right-Click the Register Relay system tray app and select Settings. Set the Cashier Live URL to https://ww2.cashierlive.com/cashregister2/ and set the Stire ID and Register ID the nubers shown in the Register Setting Screen. 5. Save the Register settings and run a test transaction to verify the register is processing transactions and peripherals are functioning properly. Magtek Dynapro Update: 1. Be sure the Dynapro is plugged in and powered on. It should say "Welcome". Note, during the boot up process, the loaded software version is shown. Older firmware will be identified as 30050581-D1-PCI. The updated firmware should be at least E4 instead of D1 2. Select the Magtek Dynapro Update link in the https://ww2.cashierlive.com/drivers/ page to download and Unzip. 3. Install the HostSimInstall.exe program and follow the default prompts. Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\MagTek\PCI PED Windows SDK\Sample Code\DotNET Host Simulator Demo\Object" and launch the PCIPED_HASim.exe application. Once launched, verify device connection in the Device Info section and press the "Config Device" tab. Press the Update Device button and select the 30050851-E4-PCI.ie2 file. The program will display the firmware update status in the lower protion of the program screen; wait until the process is fully complete. Once fully complete and device says "Welcome" again, close the PCIPED_HASim.exe application and relaunch. Verify that the firmware displayed is now at least 30050581-E4-PCI and close the program. 5. Launch the DynaPro Config.exe application and press the Next and Start buttons. (note DynaPro usb plug may need to be re-seated) Navigate the the unzipped files folder and select the RapidConnect_DynaPro_Config.xml file. Wait for the process to complete. 6. Select the Magtek Dynapro DeMac link in the https://ww2.cashierlive.com/drivers/ page to download the zip file. 7. Double click PPSCARv2.exe in the Debug folder. (more info - run anyway) A console window will pop up and display 'Process complete. Press any key to close the window' when it is finished. 8. Run a test transaction to verify the device is now up to date. Ensure that both the device and Cashier Live show that the transaction was approved.
